This is the first logo I made at the beginning of the year. This logo was more for looks and didn't really tell my story or anything about me. This was strictly for looks and the looks weren't that great. Because of this I made a new logo that better represents me. The logo below is my newest logo.

My logo represents my love for the nations. I wanted to put the outline of Africa in my logo because my heart is in Africa. When I get older I want to move to Africa and do mission work. I out my initials over the outline because that represents that i am going to make my reams come true and live in Africa some day. I made the logo a circle because I really liked the look of layered circles that are different thicknesses. I think it looks clean but gives the logo a little something extra. I made the logo purple because the lilac color means delicate and precious and the orphans that i want to work with in Africa are delicate and precious.

This is my mood board where I got all of my inspiration. As you can see I really wanted a circle logo that incorporated Africa and my initials.

After looking at my mood board I came up with these sketches to try out on the computer.

These are all of the different logos i made form my sketches. After trying many different colors and variations of each logo I decided on my final logo. All of my logos were similar and told the same story but I wanted my logo to be simple and clean, that's why I chose the one I did.

  1. Your logo is a really nice way to envision your dream for the future. I am curious how you became interested in mission work. Is it through a church group?
Your concentric circles with different stroke widths help create interest in your design. I wonder if the circle might also have a light fill color (nothing that would interfere with your initials), possibly a blue for the ocean and many adventures is seems you will have in life.
